We have our own "peace formula" – Zelenskyy on China's "peace plan"
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he does not know the specific points of the "peace plan" for the Russo-Ukrainian war that China plans to present, and he counts on support for Ukraine’s "peace formula."

Quote: "It seems to me that our document, our 'peace formula', which has been supported by a large number of states and we expect to be supported on the 23rd, when the UN will meet and vote on the relevant resolution; it seems to me that it is important to have a single position," he emphasised.
The President stressed that "he has not seen any official document [from China]."
"We are concerned that all states – European, worldwide, of course, India, Africa, China – should be involved in ending this war, in order to support our, I think, fair formula for peace," Zelenskyy added.
Earlier on 21 February, Dmytro Kuleba, Foreign Minister of Ukraine, said that Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), had shared with him the key positions of the "peace plan," which will be examined in detail by the Ukrainian side after receiving the text in full.
China promised to publish its peace initiative on the first anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
Wang Wenbin, spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, announced that the "position paper" on the settlement of the war concerns respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, the foundations of the UN Charter, consideration of the legitimate security interests of all countries, and support for all efforts aimed at a peaceful settlement.
