Much work with allies awaits after Biden's meeting with Zelenskyy – White House
After President Biden’s meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Monday, 20 February, the United States plan to carry out a lot of work with their allies and partners in regards to support for Ukraine and countering Russian aggression.
Source: Jake Sullivan, the National Security Adviser to President Joe Biden, on a briefing in the White House, reports Ukrinform.
Quote: "He had the opportunity yesterday, as I said on the press call, to have an in-depth, detailed conversation with President Zelenskyy on every facet of the conflict. And there will be a lot of follow-up work coming out of that, also in close consultation with our allies and partners."
Details: Sullivan also noted that President Biden will have the opportunity to do so this Tuesday, 21 February, during his meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda and his team.
According to Sullivan, Biden plans to talk "about the continuing work of this larger coalition of nations that are seeking to support Ukraine with military assistance, economic assistance, humanitarian assistance, and other forms of support".
At the same time, he emphasised that Biden’s discussion with Duda will encompass "all the aspects" of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
