Ukraine's PM after meeting with IMF Head: We expect to launch a new program worth over US$15 billion
Ukraine expects to launch a new multi-year large program with the IMF worth more than US$15 billion.
Source: Ukrainian Prime Minister stated this following a meeting in Kyiv with the head of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, and the IMF team.
"We discussed the mechanisms of financial support for Ukraine. We have achieved success in implementing the monitoring program, in particular, we have finalised the implementation of all structural beacons. Therefore, we look forward to launching a new multi-year large program with a volume of more than 15 billion dollars.
It is planned that the program with the IMF will consist of two parts: immediate financial support and support for structural reforms that will contribute to reconstruction," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.

The International Monetary Fund is just a few weeks away from completing the preparation of support programs for Ukraine. Now, the plan must be approved by the fund's management.
