Belarus has no offensive group ready to attack – Ukraine's Border Guards
The situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is under control, and Belarus has no offensive group ready to attack from the north.

Quote from Demchenko: "The situation on the border with Belarus remains under full control. Of course, considerable attention is being paid to this area because there are Russian Federation units in Belarus.
However, we currently do not observe such an offensive group that could invade the territory of Ukraine."
Details: Demchenko also emphasised that this is also not being observed by intelligence units, which "monitor the situation deep into the territory of Belarus".
As he states, the Russian military in Belarus are mainly at training grounds where joint training with Belarusians takes place or where Russians are trained.
At the same time, Demchenko emphasised that the opponent should not be underestimated and that the situation could change at any time.
Demchenko stated that the border guards are preparing for any development of the situation: the border and borderline are currently being strengthened, and Ukraine's Armed Forces are constantly training in this area.
Background:
- On 18 February, Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Russian forces on the territory of Belarus were not sufficient for a ground offensive.
- Polish President Andrzej Duda is convinced that if Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, orders his armed forces to engage in the war against Ukraine, it would mean a "total end" for his regime.
