Ukraine's Armed Forces strike 20 clusters of Russian personnel – General Staff report

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks in three oblasts and struck 20 clusters of occupiers’ military personnel.

Quote: "The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts.

Russian occupiers are using all means to put pressure on the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories. In some settlements of Kherson Oblast, the invaders are arranging rooms in administrative buildings for the illegal detention of Ukrainian citizens suspected of cooperating with the Defense Forces and having a pro-Ukrainian position."

Details: Over the past day, the Russians performed 10 missile and 25 airstrikes (Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts). They carried out 62 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS). Civilians have been injured and killed.

During the past day, units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces repelled occupiers' attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Hrianykivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; and Vasiukivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut and Ivanivske in Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, the following settlements were attacked by the Russians: Karpovychi, Tymonovychi and Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Buniakyne, Atynske, Stukalivka, Zapsillia and Pokrovka in Sumy Oblast; and Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory and Stroivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, the Russians fired on Kamianka, Kolodiazne, Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kupiansk, Berestove and Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; and Bilohorivka and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, the occupiers fired on Vasiukivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Maiorsk and New-York. In addition, the Russians deployed army aircraft to strike near Bakhmut.   

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts, the Russians deployed artillery to fire on Novobakhmutivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Shakhtarske, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka and Neskuchne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the settlements of Novosilka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Poltavka, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka and Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast came under invaders’ fire.

On the Kherson front, the Russians fired on Kherson, Burhunka, Tiahynka and Antonivka in Kherson Oblast and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast. There were civilian casualties reported. 

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force delivered 20 strikes on clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, seven anti-aircraft missile systems at firing positions, as well as two other important sites used by Russian invaders.

Ukrainian defenders also shot down a Russian Su-25 aircraft, two Orlan-10 UAVs and two Lancet-3 kamikaze drones.

The units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery hit a battery of Russian multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).
