Ukraine is ready to guarantee that long-range missiles will not hit Russia

Ukraine is ready to guarantee that long-range missiles will not attack the territory of Russia, as the Armed Forces of Ukraine have enough targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Source: Ukrinform, referring to the statement of Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, at a joint meeting of the government of Ukraine and the European Commission

Quote: "If we had the opportunity to strike at a distance of 300 km, the Russian army would not be able to provide defence and would have to lose.

Ukraine is ready to provide any guarantees that your weapons will not be involved in attacks on Russian territory.  We have enough targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and are ready to coordinate targets with our partners."

Details: Reznikov added that in order to win, Ukraine needs to "seize the strategic initiative".

In particular, he urged partners to help install missile defence as soon as possible, emphasising the desire to get Patriot and SAMP/T at the first opportunity, along with the supply of new IRIS-T and NASAMS.

In addition, Reznikov emphasised the need for tanks and armoured vehicles. As he states, this will make it possible to create an armoured fist to break through the Russian defence.

He also mentioned that there is a need to increase the number of artillery, shells and weapons capable of surpassing and destroying the means of electronic warfare and anti-aircraft defence that the aggressor has despite the sanctions.
