Ukraine is starting the path of ousting people who have forgotten about honour, and the National Security and Defence Council is monitoring connections of those individuals who have fallen under the sanctions.

Source: Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (RNBO), on the air of the national joint 24/7 newscast

Quote: "This [a series of searches carried out on February 1 by the Security Service of Ukraine, the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation ed.] is only the beginning of affirmative action and work that has been carried out for months in order to collect the evidence base for each of these elements [individuals who have fallen under the sanctions ed.]. We are at the beginning of a long journey aimed at cleansing our country of the people who forgot what honour, state and country meant, and got engaged in disgraceful behaviour, especially during the war."

Details: Danilov stressed that RNBO has a so-called "sanctions file".

"Everything is monitored. If someone thinks they can help those people who have fallen under the sanctions imposed by our state, they are profoundly mistaken," he said.
