New German Defence Minister promises to achieve Ukraine's victory in war

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius believes that Ukraine will win the war, but cannot predict how long it will take.

Separately, Pistorius stated NATO's intention to protect the states that have already become members of the alliance, in case Russia decides to attack other states as well. "We can and will defend every inch of the alliance's territory," he explained.

Earlier, the German Chancellor called on partner states to send tanks to Ukraine as soon as possible. There was also a dispute in Munich about insinuations about Ukraine's concessions in the war.
