Russians kill 5 civilians in Bakhmut and wound 10 others in Donetsk Oblast

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, has reported that five people have been killed and 10 more sustained injuries in Russian attacks on Donetsk Oblast on 16 February.

Details: As Kyrylenko said, it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha. 

According to the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, the Russian troops shelled the city of Bakhmut with tubed artillery and Grad multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) on 16 February. The occupiers' shells once again hit a residential area. Criminal proceedings have been opened.

Background: On 16 February, Iryna Vereshchuk, the Deputy Prime Minister, reported that 6,000 civilians are still living in Bakhmut; she urged them to evacuate as soon as possible.
