Russian troops attacked seven areas in Sumy Oblast, dropping 6 mine bombs and VOG grenades

The Russian occupying forces have attacked seven hromadas [administrative units designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories –  ed.] in Sumy Oblast over the past 24 hours.

Details: The hromadas of Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Khotin, Nova Sloboda, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, and Shalyhyne came under fire.

The record shows a total of 69 strikes and the dropping of one explosive device by UAV.

The Russian troops have been firing mortars at Velyka Pysarivka hromada since 09:50, with ten strikes.

Esman hromada was attacked twice with mortars, for a total of eleven strikes.

The Russian troops shelled Khotin hromada with artillery, with nine strikes.

The Russian occupying forces fired mortars at Nova Sloboda hromada at 13:20 (ten strikes) and at 17:20 (eight strikes). Four residential buildings and adjacent outbuildings were damaged in the village of Boiaro-Lezhachi following the explosions at 17:20.

Bilopillia hromada came under Russian mortar fire, with seven strikes.

A Russian UAV (quadrocopter drone) dropped one explosive device (a VOG high-explosive fragmentation grenade) in Krasnopillia hromada at 14:05.

The Russian troops dropped six mine bombs on Shalyhyne hromada.

Sumy Oblast Military Administration states that there have been no civilian casualties reported.
