Russians did not launch Shakhed drones, but reconnaissance UAV and balloons

The Ukrainian Air Force has refuted information that the Russians used Shakhed drones in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on Sunday evening, in fact the Russians used a reconnaissance drone and balloons.

Quote: "The information about the enemy's use of Shakhed drones on the evening of 12 February in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, posted by some telegram channels, does not correspond to reality.

The enemy used a reconnaissance UAV and several balloons with corner reflectors.

Air defence units of Air Command Skhid (East) targeted the enemy UAV. The outcome is being established."

Background: On Sunday evening, Vitalii Kim, head of Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration and Mykola Lukashuk, head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported about Shahed drones near the city of Dnipro. Ukrainska Pravda sources also reported that two drones were shot down near Dnipro.
