Ukrainian defenders strike over 30 clusters of occupiers – General Staff report

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have repelled Russian attacks and struck clusters of Russian military manpower, hitting 33 of them.

Details: In the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled occupiers’ attacks near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Serebrianka Forest in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Pervomaiske, Pobieda, Marinka and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

The Russians launched 12 missile attacks, three of them on the civilian infrastructure in the city of Kharkiv, and 32 airstrikes, six of them with the use of Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Four of these drones were shot down. In addition, the invaders carried out more than 90 attacks with multiple-launch rocket systems. 

There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, and no offensive Russian groups were detected. Areas of more than 20 settlements came under Russian fire, including Senkivka in Chernihiv Oblast, Novovasylivka, Porokhon, Studenok, Starykove and Volfyne in Sumy Oblast, and Krasne, Hlyboke, Synelnykove, Vovchansk, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast. In addition, the invaders launched airstrikes near Vovchansk and Hatyshche.

On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russian troops deployed mortars and artillery to attack the areas of over 25 settlements. This refers to Hrianykivka, Novoiehorivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Tabaivka and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast, and Stelmakhivka, Vyshneve, Chervonopopivka and Serebrianka Forest in Luhansk Oblast. The invaders also launched airstrikes near Chervonopopivka, Zhytlivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast and Hryhorivka and Spirne in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Bakhmut front, the Russians used tanks, mortars, and artillery to attack Spirne, Berestove, Vasyukivka, Zaliznianske, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, Predtechyne, Bila Hora and Zalizne in Donetsk Oblast. In total, there were more than 25 settlements that came under attack. 

On the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts, areas in and around more than 25 settlements came under Russian fire from tanks, mortars, and artillery. This includes Kalynove, Orlivka, Sievierne, Avdiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Neskuchne, Vremivka and Novosilka. Russian forces launched airstrikes near Avdiivka, Vesele, Nevelske and Marinka. 

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russians attacked the areas of the settlements of Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast, and Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Mahdalynivka and Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. There were also airstrikes near Mala Tokmachka and Kamianske.  

On the Kherson front, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Kherson and its suburbs, as well as areas of other 30 settlements, including Havrylivka, Mylove, Chervonyi Maiak, Novoberyslav, Beryslav, Burhunka, Prydniprovske and Stanislav in Kherson Oblast. Russian troops carried out an airstrike near Zymivnyk. 

Ukrainian aircraft launched 19 strikes on clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, as well as two strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile system positions.

Apart from that, Ukrainian defenders hit a Su-25 aircraft and an Orlan UAV. Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck 14 clusters of Russian military manpower and a Russian anti-aircraft missile system position.
