Zelenskyy fires deputy commander of National Guard
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fired Ruslan Dziuba from the post of deputy commander of the National Guard.

Background: Dziuba was assigned to this post by Zelenskyy on 14 June 2019, when the previous head of the National Guard, Mykola Balan, was assigned.
In January 2022, Balan wrote a report about his resignation from his post in connection with the shooting at the plant in Dnipro, which was carried out by a soldier of the National Guard.
On 25 February 2022, Zelenskyy appointed Yurii Lebid as the commander of the National Guard.
