Background:
- Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv oblasts came under attack of Russian drones, at first last night, and then on 10 February in the afternoon.
- The same day, the Russian forces also launched about 100 missiles on Ukraine, 71 out of them being air- and sea-based cruise missiles and the rest – S-300 missiles. A total of 61 cruise missiles were destroyed.
- Ten missiles were shot down over the city of Kyiv. Power transmission lines have been damaged.
- Due to the attacks, Rivne and Pivdennoukrainsk Nuclear Power Plants reduced the production of electricity as a preventive measure due to Russian attacks. Instability in the power network caused by the attacks also led to the shutdown of one of Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP) reactor units.
