Fire alarm goes off in Russian Foreign Ministry building, rescuers on scene
A fire alarm went off on the premises of one of the buildings of the Russian Foreign Ministry building due to a possible short circuit.

Quote from Zakharova: "A possible cause is a short circuit. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working [on the scene – ed.]. There are no casualties."
Details: Zakharova said that the information that "there was a fire in the work space" is not true, and the actual scene of the supposed incident is on the basement floors.
At the same time, Russian Interfax with reference to the press service of the Moscow Central Office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reported that the incident occurred at the address Smolenskaya-Sinya square, house 30, building 2.
Firefighters have gone to the scene and are conducting an investigation.
