Ukrainian soldiers shot down a Russian Su-25 ground attack aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter on Thursday, 5 January.

Details: The General Staff has also reported that Ukrainian aircraft carried out 15 strikes on clusters of Russian military manpower and three attacks on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems over the course of 5 January.
