Russian forces hit DTEK facility again
On 4 January, the Russians once again attacked one of the energy facilities of the DTEK Energo [the largest private energy business in Ukraine – ed.], no casualties were reported.

Details: The attack significantly damaged the company's equipment. Power engineers immediately started eliminating the consequences and restoring the equipment after the end of the attack.
The business emphasised that for security purposes, only essential employees are present at the facilities, others work remotely.
"From September to January, DTEK Energo energy facilities have been attacked 24 times. Twenty six power engineers were injured, three were killed. There were also killed and injured among rescue workers," DTEK summarised.
Background: The energy infrastructure was damaged as a result of the Russian attack on the night of 1-2 January in Kyiv, which caused emergency power outages in the city.
