Withdrawal of Russian troops is condition for negotiations with Russia – Scholz
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that any peace negotiations must be conditioned on Russia's withdrawal of its troops from the territory of Ukraine.

Details: In addition, no peace agreement can be concluded with Russia behind the backs of Ukrainians, Scholz said.
The German chancellor added that he and the Brazilian president have a clear common position: "We both condemn the Russian invasion".
On the other hand, Lula clearly rejected hopes that Ukraine would be supplied with ammunition for Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns or for Leopard tanks.
Quote: "Brazil is not interested in transferring ammunition for the Ukrainian-Russian war. Brazil is a country of peace. And that is why Brazil does not want to participate in this war, even indirectly," he said at a joint press conference.
Background: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz claimed that the question of a possible provision of fighter jets to Ukraine does not even arise at the moment.
