History textbook with information on war against Ukraine will enter Russian schools this year

The history textbook, which will include information regarding the war against Ukraine, is to appear in Russian schools starting in the next academic year, in the fall of 2023.

Quote from Kravtsov: "The textbook will be ready for high school students in March. And I hope that it will be in schools starting next school year."

Details: As Kravtsov claims, this textbook "will tell students in detail about the goals and targets of the special military operation [as Russian propaganda calls the war against Ukraine – ed.]".

Background: The Russian Ministry of Education has announced that it plans to rewrite history textbooks for schools in early 2023.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Education had approved a school curriculum with lessons on the war in Ukraine, as well as learning how to fire a Kalashnikov assault rifle and throw a grenade.
