Former head of Russian railway subsidiary detained in Kherson

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has reported that the former head of a Russian railway subsidiary in the city of Kherson, who helped to transfer Russian military convoys to Ukraine, has been arrested.

Details: Another Russian accomplice has been exposed following stabilisation measures in the liberated city of Kherson.

According to the SSU, the suspect is a former official of an inter-sectoral railway transport utility, who joined the local occupation administration during the occupation of the city.

There she headed the Kherson railway industrial railway company, created by the aggressor.

When she assumed this position, she helped the Russians to establish a railway connection with the Ukrainian city to meet the needs of the occupation groups on the southern front.

First of all, the criminal facilitated the transportation of military equipment, weapons and ammunition from the territory of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast.

She has also organised the looting of rolling stock technical equipment belonging to the local Ukrainian railway company for its transfer to the aggressor country.

In addition, she personally urged local residents to support the Russian invaders and join the ranks of the occupation institution. She promised loyalty from the invaders and payment of "salaries" in Russian roubles for fulfilling this.

The offender has been served a notice of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state.

The SSU notes that the court ordered that the woman be remanded in custody, pending trial.
