Quote from the Center for National Resistance: "In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk [Oblast], the Russians began to [force] employees of state and [municipal] enterprises [to obtain Russian passports]."
Details: The Center for National Resistance said that the occupiers are threatening to fire everyone who refuses to obtain Russian documents. People are forced to write statements renouncing their Ukrainian citizenship.
"[...] dual citizenship is allowed in the Russian Federation. That is, renunciation of citizenship is necessary for Russians precisely for propaganda purposes and in order to ‘reinforce’ their ‘rights’ in the region by changing its demographic composition," the Center wrote.
