Russian forces fired 88 projectiles on Sumy Oblast on 28 January
Russian occupation forces carried out 17 attacks on seven hromadas in Sumy Oblast over the course of 28 January, firing a total of 88 projectiles. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.]

Details: Russian forces attacked the Bilopillia, Hlukhiv, Znob-Novhorodske, Krasnopillia, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda and Yunakivka hromadas. They fired mortars and artillery and conducted an airstrike. The hromadas were hit with a total of 88 projectiles.
Two settlements sustained damage as a result of the Russian attacks.
The Russians fired eight shells on the Yunakivka hromada using self-propelled artillery systems. Explosions in the village of Yunakivka damaged roofs and windows in two private houses as well as an outbuilding.
It was earlier reported that Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the city of Seredyna-Buda around 1pm on 28 January. The Sumy Oblast Military Administration said that four apartment blocks, 26 private houses, a local hotel, an administrative building belonging to a local business, a religious organisation’s house of prayer, a sports complex, three shops, a café, a kindergarten and a post office were damaged.
