Details: According to the National Resistance Center, the Russian occupiers have forcibly transported convicts to occupied Crimea, where they are being urged to join the ranks of the Wagner Group. The Center points out that the majority of the convicts refuse to sign the contract, which leads them to being held in intolerable conditions.
The National Resistance Center emphasises that the people in question are convicts that had been sentenced in Ukraine for criminal offences and were in prison at the time of the full-scale invasion.
