Russian invaders want to introduce a Russian time zone on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Quote: "The gradual synchronisation of Russian legislation is underway after four new subjects have been admitted to the country. In the near future, the DPR [the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic – ed.], LPR [the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic – ed.], Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts will be part of the second time zone, in which Moscow time operates."
Details: The occupiers report that the appropriate draft of the decision has already been submitted to the Russian government.
Background: On 30 September 2022, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, signed the "agreement on the accession to Russia" of the occupied Ukrainian territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts and declared that henceforth, residents of these territories are citizens of the Russian Federation.
