Since the Russian missile attack began during the visit of Catherine Colonna, the Head of the Foreign Ministry of France to Ukraine, the negotiations between the heads of Foreign Ministries of both countries was held in the bomb shelter of the Odesa Opera House.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this at a briefing on Thursday, reports European Pravda.

"Catherine’s visit today coincided with another terrible attack by Russia on Ukraine, including Odesa," said Kuleba.

"The minister saw with her own eyes the destruction of the energy infrastructure, and we held part of the negotiations in a tête-à-tête format in the bomb shelter of the Odesa Opera House, because at that time, there was an air-raid alarm again and air defence was working," he added.

According to Kuleba, the negotiations focused on the supply of weapons, new sanctions against Russia, the implementation of Ukraine’s peace formula, as well as the creation of a Special Tribunal to punish Russia for its crimes committed in Ukraine.

The French Foreign Minister's visit to Odesa lasted only a few hours.
