French Foreign Minister arrives in Odesa amidst Russian missile strikes

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has arrived in Odesa on a visit.

Quote from Colonna's Twitter: "In Odesa! To celebrate France's support for Ukraine's sovereignty, today, just like yesterday".

The AFP news agency reports that the visit should last only a few hours.

Background:

• On Thursday, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles again. The projectiles landed in several oblasts, including Odesa Oblast.
• Maksym Marchenko, the head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration said that three enemy Kalibr missiles had been shot down in the skies over Odesa Oblast.
• As a result of the Russian attack on Thursday, two critical energy infrastructure facilities in Odesa Oblast were damaged.
