Ukraine’s defence forces strike up to 30 clusters of Russian troops and 7 anti-aircraft missile systems – General Staff report

Ukrainian Defence Forces have repelled Russian attacks near 16 settlements across three oblasts and have carried out numerous successful strikes on Russian positions, hitting nearly 30 clusters of Russian military personnel and seven Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

Enemy forces are focusing their main efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka front offensives. They are conducting defensive operations on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Novopavlivka and Kherson fronts."

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Novoselivske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast); Verkhnokamianske, Krasnopolivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Dyliivka, Vodiane, Marinka, Pobieda, and Novosilka (Donetsk Oblast); and Mala Tokmachka and Stepove (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

No Russian offensive groups have been reported on the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna or Slobozhanshchyna fronts, though Russia continues to reinforce its aircraft fleet in Belarus under the guise of joint military exercises.

Russian forces shelled areas in and around Tymofiivka (Sumy Oblast) and Veterynarne, Strilecha, Zelene, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Budarky, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna and Kupiansk (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Kupiansk front, areas in and around Tavilzhanka, Vilshana, Orlianske, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, Berestove, Stelmakhivka and Vyshneve (Kharkiv Oblast) and Novoselivka (Luhansk Oblast) came under Russian fire.

On the Lyman front, Russian forces used all weapons at their disposal to fire on areas in and around Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Dibrova and the Serebrianka forest (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Bakhmut front, Verkhnokamianske, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka and Maiorsk (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian fire.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian forces attacked Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian forces shelled Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian forces deployed tank guns, mortars and artillery to attack over 20 settlements, including Vremivka and Novopil (Donetsk Oblast); and Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Bilohiria, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske (Zaporizhchia Oblast).

On the Kherson front, Russian occupation forces shelled Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Inhulets, Kherson, Blahovishchenske and Rozlyv. 

The General Staff reported that Russia is preparing to launch another covert mobilisation wave in temporarily occupied Crimea. In Sevastopol, IT and finance workers and other professionals who had previously been exempted have started to receive call-up notices.

Ukrainian aircraft conducted 21 airstrikes on clusters of Russian occupation forces and seven on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian forces also destroyed three Lancet-3 UAVs.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck six Russian command posts, eight clusters of Russian military personnel and an ammunition storage point.
