Sumy Oblast: enemy carries out 70 strikes, damages school
On 2 January, the Russian occupiers carried out 70 strikes in the Bilopillia hromada [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.], Sumy Oblast; a school building was damaged as a result of the shelling.

Details: The enemy shelled the Krasnopil hromada four times with mortars and artillery; in total there were 42 strikes.
The Russians fired mortars at the Shalyhyne hromada; three hits were recorded.
The enemy shelled the Velikopysarivka hromada from a Mi-24 helicopter. In addition, five NURS missiles exploded on the territory of the hromada.
The Russians opened fire from 120 mm mortars on the Bilopilsk hromada; there were 20 strikes. As a result of the shelling a school, a power line and a UAZ minivan were damaged.
