Despite losses, occupiers continue their offensive on Bakhmut front

As of the evening of 2 January, the occupiers continued to focus on conducting offensive operations on the Bakhmut front.

Quote: "The enemy launched a missile attack and 28 air strikes. It is worth noting that the Russian occupiers carried out 27 air strikes on civilian infrastructure using the Shahed-136 UAV. All these drones were shot down.

The Russians, losing a lot of manpower, continue to focus on conducting offensive actions on the Bakhmut front and aim at improving their tactical position on the Kupiansk and Avdiivka fronts. 

During the day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 10 strikes on clusters of military personnel and 5 strikes on the positions of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

Details: On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the situation has not changed significantly.

The Russians shelled Ukrainian settlements on the Sivershchyna, Slobozhanshchyna, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia fronts.

The Russians also fired mortars and rocket artillery on the Kupiansk front. 

On the Kherson front, the enemy continues shelling settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro river.

In particular, the civilian infrastructure of Kherson, Antonivka and Beryslav was damaged in artillery shelling. There are wounded among the civilians.
