"Bakhmut fortress": border guards held back occupiers' assault and shot down two air spies
Ukrainian border guards held off an assault of the invading forces on the Bakhmut front and shot down two Russian reconnaissance drones.

Details: It is reported that the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in one of the fronts of the fortress city of Bakhmut on the morning of 19 January.
Border Guard units rebuffed the assault groups of the invaders, who strengthened the offensive and actively supported their actions with artillery during the day.
Quote: "Our soldiers withstood and repelled the attack of the invaders in a rifle battle, destroying some of the attack aircraft. During the day, border guards neutralised 21 invaders, 11 of them are Cargo 200 [military code for dead soldiers – ed.] and another 10 were wounded."
Details: In addition, border guards noticed two Russian drones that were conducting reconnaissance of the positions of the Defense Forces at one of the combat positions in the area of Bakhmut. It was reported that the targets were destroyed by well-aimed small arms shots.
According to Ukrainska Pravda, these events took place the day before, on 18 January.
