Border guards stop Russians' attempt to break through to Bakhmut

Several infantry groups of the Russian military have tried to bypass the stronghold of the Ukrainian defenders near Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast. The border guards stopped their manoeuvre and killed the occupiers.

Quote: "To stop the manoeuvre of the Russian occupying forces, our fighters imposed a firing contact on the occupiers and called for support. The enemy was forced to refuse to bypass the border and tried to capture the positions of the border unit."

Details: The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine specified that the hostile forces' movement was halted by border guards and mortar and artillery crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The battle lasted for about two hours; during this period of time the occupiers lost 12 people in the unsuccessful attack; 5 were killed and 7 were wounded.
