Zelenskyy on helicopter crash in Brovary: A terrible tragedy
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, has expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of those killed in the helicopter crash in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, and instructed the Security Service of Ukraine together with the National Police of Ukraine to find out the circumstances of the tragedy.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "A terrible tragedy happened today in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast. A helicopter of the State Emergency Service crashed, and a fire broke out at the crash site."
Details: The President announced that he instructed the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with the National Police of Ukraine and other authorised bodies to find out all the circumstances of the accident.
According to the president, 15 people have died so far. Among them are the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi, his First Deputy, Yevhen Yenin, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Yurii Lubkovych, their assistants, and the helicopter crew. In addition, 25 people have been injured, including 10 children. The exact number of victims of the tragedy is currently being established.
"As of this moment, three children have died. Indescribable pain. A helicopter fell on the territory of one of the kindergartens," Zelenskyy added.
"My condolences to all the relatives and friends of the victims! Denys, Yevhen, Yurii, the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs… true patriots of Ukraine. Rest in peace! May all whose lives were taken by this dark morning rest in peace!" the president wrote.
Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has also reacted to the tragedy in Brovary. He called the deceased true patriots and people of honour.
"Denys, you were one of those who showed up more after 24 February. You were here from the first minute, you worked non-stop. Genuine, reliable, and intelligent, you did a lot for our victory. My condolences to the relatives of the victims, to the parents of the children. All of this is very painful," Yermak wrote.
