Earlier: Arestovych announced that he wrote a resignation letter from the Office of the President after a "fundamental mistake". After the Russian missile attack on a house in Dnipro, as a result of which 44 people were killed, the OP adviser said that the Kh-22 missile was shot down by Ukrainian air defence forces, as a result of which it fell on a residential building.

For reference: Arestovych is known for his "calming videos", as well as the statement that active combat actions on the territory of Ukraine will end "within 2-3 weeks". His phrases (and even his photo) often become memes.

In 2017, Arestovych called the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) "a resort for boys". This statement caused a wave of outrage.

At the end of 2022, Andrii Yermak, Head of the President’s Office, said that Oleksii Arestovych is in his proper place, has his own army of supporters, and communicates with them professionally.
