Emergency services complete rescue operation in Dnipro, 44 dead and 20 missing
In the city of Dnipro, the search and rescue operation at the site of a Russian missile strike on 14 January was completed; 20 people went missing, 44 people were confirmed dead.

Quote: "Thirty-nine people were saved, including 6 children; 44 people were killed, including 5 children; 79 people were injured, including 16 children; 47 reports of missing persons were received, of which 23 people were confirmed dead, and 4 people were found alive with their relatives, in hospital."
Details: The State Emergency Service clarified that the search and rescue operation was completed at 13:00.
Updated at 13:50: Ihor Klymenko, Head of the National Police, reported that 4 of the 20 missing persons are children. Fifteen dead bodies could not be identified.
A total of 487 victims filed complaints with the police. Five children remained orphans. Three are being taken care of by relatives. Two children are currently under the care of the state, as they do not have relatives who can take care of them.
