More than 200 apartments destroyed as result of strike on Dnipro
More than 200 apartments were destroyed in a high-rise apartment building hit by a Russian rocket on 14 January, and the residents have been evacuated.

Details: Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, has made a working trip to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where he inspected a destroyed multi-storey apartment building in Dnipro. Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin visited the scene of the tragedy together with him.
Tymoshenko emphasised that now the main task is to help all those who suffered as a result of the Russian missile attack.
Quote from Tymoshenko: "Almost the entire building has been evacuated. Now both the city and the oblast have prepared numerous places to temporarily accommodate all the families. There will be a decision by the city and regional authorities regarding financial assistance for all the families of the victims, both to all those who lost their homes, and to those whose homes have been affected. We understand that more than 200 apartments have actually been destroyed, and our most important task is to re-accommodate all the people and help rebuild this building."
More details: According to Tymoshenko, removal of the rubble will not end until all the bodies have been found.
"There are currently 40 dead people. As for the injured, there are several who are in serious condition, including one child," he said.
Tymoshenko said that a one-stop shop has been set up in Dnipro, at the base for Dnipro City Council’s Sobornyi District Administration, where residents of the affected building can complete all documents and receive assistance.
"Emergency workers continue to dismantle the rubble. Then assessors will get to work and evaluate the possibility of rebuilding the house. The electricity supply has already been restored today [16 January - ed.] in the building sections that survived. We thank all the emergency workers, volunteers and citizens," he added.
