Ukraine to receive first tranche of €18 billion macrofinancial aid from EU this week
Details: This week, Ukraine will receive the first part of the macro-financial assistance package from the EU totaling €18 billion.

"Ukraine and the EU have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide €18bn in macro-financial assistance. We expect to receive a tranche of €3bn this week. Many thanks to Ursula von der Leyen &Valdis Dombrovskis. This will help maintain macroeconomic stability going forward," Denys Shmyhal noted.
Details: EU Ambassador Matti Maasikas said that this would be the first tranche of international financial assistance for Ukraine in 2023.
