Ukraine’s Defence Forces strike 15 clusters of Russian forces and air defence positions – General Staff report

Ukraine’s Defence Forces have repelled Russian attacks near 16 settlements and struck 15 clusters of Russian military manpower, their air defence systems’ positions and an electronic warfare system.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out two missile strikes and deployed multiple-launch rocket systems [MLRS] to conduct over 55 attacks on civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts.

Over the past day, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Verkhniokamianske, Krasnopolivka, Spirne, Sil, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Velyka Novosilka, Prechystivka, Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Maiorsk and Marinka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts, there were no signs of Russians forming offensive groups. Nevertheless, areas in and around Seredyna-Buda, Pavlivka, Kindrativka and Popivka in Sumy Oblast; Starytsia, Huriv Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Budarky, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Krasne Pershe, Ohirtseve, Ternova, Khatnie and Topoli in Kharkiv Oblast came under Russian mortar and artillery fire.

On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russian forces fired on areas in and around 23 settlements, including Dvorichnam Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast, and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Kuzmyne and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, more than 25 cities, towns and villages were attacked. Namely, these were Spirne, Ozarianivka, Klishchiivka, Ivano-Darivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Druzhba, Niu-York and Pivnichne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian forces used tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery to fire on Heorhiivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Marinka, Vodiane, Orlivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlivka front, the occupiers hit Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Mykilski Dachi in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian forces deployed tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery to strike the positions of Ukrainian defenders in areas in and around more than 24 settlements, including Mylove, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Plavni, Shcherbaky and Kachkarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson front, the invaders continued attacking the settlements along the right (west) bank of the Dnipro River. Seventeen settlements came under fire, including Antonivka, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Lvove, Sadove and Kherson.

Ukrainian aircraft carried out nine strikes on clusters of Russian military manpower and two strikes on their air defence systems’ positions over the past day. 

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery units hit one command post, six clusters of manpower and military equipment, an ammunition storage point and an electronic warfare station belonging to the Russian invaders.
