Quote: "The enemy is not abandoning its intentions to completely capture Donetsk Oblast. For this purpose, they are focusing their main efforts on offensive actions on the Bakhmut front. Fierce battles for Soledar are ongoing.
Our soldiers repel enemy attacks for 24/7. The occupiers suffer heavy losses.
The enemy is also conducting an offensive on the Lyman, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka front. They are trying to improve their tactical position on the Kupiansk front, and they are defending on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts."
Details: In general, during the current 24 hours, the Russians performed three airstrikes and about 50 missile strikes. In the morning, the capital came under attack, as Russians used S-400 (S-300) anti-aircraft guided missiles from the north. Later, the terrorist state used high-precision weapons: Kh-101/Kh-555, Kh-22 air-based cruise missiles, Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, and Kh-59 guided air missiles on critical infrastructure facilities of Ukraine.
In total, the Russians launched about 28 cruise missiles from sea and air, as well as five guided air-launched missiles. 18 cruise missiles and three guided air-launched missiles were destroyed by the forces and resources of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with units of other components of the defence forces [the collective name for all armed formations resisting the Russian invasion – ed.]. The data is being specified.
In addition, the Russians carried out 50 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).
There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, where no offensive groups of the Russians were detected. The Republic of Belarus continues to participate in Russian aggression against Ukraine, providing its territory and airspace for performing strikes, as well as ammunition and logistical resources.
The settlements of Vovkivka, Kindrativka in Sumy Oblast and Starytsia, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Ternova, Khatnie, Topoli in Kharkiv Oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.
On the Kupiansk front, the settlements of Dvorichna, Orlianka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast, and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast came under Russian fire.
On the Lyman front, the occupiers fired on areas in and around Makiivka, Nevske, Kreminna and Chervonopopivka (Luhansk Oblast).
On the Bakhmut front, the settlements of Spirne, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Druzhba and Pivnichne (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian fire.
On the Avdiivka front, the invaders fired on Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Marinka, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Novopavlivka front, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Plavniv (all in Zaporizhzhia Oblast) came under the occupiers’ fire.
On the Kherson front, the Russians deployed tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the city of Kherson and Dmytrivka (Mykolaiv Oblast); casualties among civilians were reported.
The Russians are redeploying their units in the left (eastern) bank of Kherson Oblast in order to strengthen the defence capabilities. The movement of personnel, weapons, military equipment and ammunition is observed.
The Russians continue to suffer losses in manpower every day, and it brings tangible results. The staffing level of individual units of the 3rd Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade of the 1st Army Corps, located in Horlivka district of Donetsk Oblast, remains low – up to 40 percent, despite the recent replenishment of the unit with conscripts and contract soldiers. It is significant that personnel are not allowed to leave the location: this way, the occupiers try to prevent desertion.
The Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast are revising the categories of citizens of draft age who previously were postponed from military service. In particular, employees of emergency and utility services have been warned about this.
During the day, the Ukrainian Air Force delivered five strikes on clusters of Russian personnel, and Rocket Forces and Artillery units targeted five clusters of personnel and one Russian ammunition dump.
