The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that the Russian occupiers continue to put pressure on members of the local population of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast who are refusing to collaborate with the occupation authorities. They are also conducting searches in residential buildings. Moreover, the invaders are disturbed by the pro-Ukraine attitude of the oblast’s citizens, which poses a threat to them.
The report states that the invaders are conducting filtration measures in some settlements in the Melitopol district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. They pay close attention to phones during checks, looking for confirmation of cooperation with the Defence Forces.
The General Staff is also aware of Russians ordering civilian special uniforms with Rosneft and Elektrostal [Russian energy company and metallurgical plant, respectively, - ed.] logos for the personnel of one of the occupiers’ units operating on the Novopavlivka front in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk Oblast. It is obvious that the Russians are trying to hide their affiliation with Russian occupation troops for some reason.
