Russia transfers 400 more conscripts from Belarus to Luhansk
The Russians are transferring another 400 trained conscripts from Belarus to Luhansk. The last time new conscripts were dispatched to the areas closest to the oblast was on 10 January.

Details: According to the monitoring media, an echelon of conscripts trained at Belarusian training grounds was dispatched from the railway station Chepino, Vitebsk Oblast, on 11 January.
The echelon consists of 48 cars, specifically, 8 passenger cars that can accommodate 400 people, 3 cargo cars with equipment, and 37 platform-cars with wheeled and tracked equipment.
The echelon is due to arrive at the Rossosh railway station in Voronezh Oblast on 15 January. This station is located 50 kilometres from Luhansk Oblast.
Background:
- On 10 January, an echelon with trained conscripts of Russian Armed Forces and military equipment arrived in Russia from Belarus. The arrival station is located less than 100 km away from the predominantly occupied Luhansk oblast of Ukraine.
- On 12 January, the Ministry of Defence of Belarus reported that a commission of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation headed by the commander-in-chief of the ground forces, Oleg Salyukov, had arrived in Belarus to inspect the military.
- British intelligence reported that fierce battle had been ongoing near Soledar (Donetsk Oblast) and Kreminna (Luhansk Oblast) for the past two days where the Russian Federation had reinforced its defence with paratroopers.
