Russians shell Ochakiv front from Kinburn Spit

Russian troops attack the Ochakiv hromada [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] of Mykolaiv Oblast from the Kinburn Spit.

Quote: "Nikopol district remains under fire, these are provocations aimed at our Defense Forces to strike back at an object where a man-made disaster could occur, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant... The terrorization of the Ochakiv front continues. The enemy strikes from the Kinburn Spit, using multiple-launch rocket systems. But they do not remain in these positions, suffering from our response.

As a rule, when striking, they then retreat to the left bank [of the Dnipro River – ed.], because they can be hit.  Our work is quite effective, we have already destroyed more than one MLRS at this place [on the Kinburn spit – ed.]."
