Russians look for mercenaries for new private military companies in occupied Crimea – General Staff

The Russians have announced the enlistment of mercenaries for newly created private military companies Shchit (Shield) and Rusich [i.e., a person from Kyivan Rus] in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Quote: "It is known that the enlisting of mercenaries for the newly created so-called Shchit and Rusich private military companies has been announced in temporarily occupied Crimea.

They [the Russians – ed.] are inviting former military servicemen and other employees of the law enforcement bodies there, prioritising officers. 

In order to attract their interest, they are promising high financial support for potential candidates, as well as allegedly no involvement for them in combat actions in Ukraine."
