Defence forces strike 27 concentrations of Russian troops – General Staff report

Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks in two oblasts and performed 27 ground and air strikes, hitting clusters of Russian troops, over the course of the past 24 hours.

Details: In the course of the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers launched four missile attacks (on civilian targets of Lyman and Chasiv Yar settlements in Donetsk Oblast) and 23 airstrikes. They have also performed 69 strikes using multiple-launch rocket systems.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian defence force units repelled Russian attacks in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhivka and Kreminna in Luhansk Oblast, and Rozdolivka, Sil, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Maiorsk, Pervomaiske and Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russian troops used mortars and artillery to attack near Novovasylivka and Vovkivka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Huryiv Kozachok, Strilecha, Staritsia, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Vilcha and Novomlynsk in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces attacked the areas of the settlements of Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove, Vyshneve, Ivanivka and Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Oblast and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman front, Terny in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervopopivka, Kreminna, Kuzmyne and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast came under fire from the occupiers.

On the Bakhmut front, occupiers deployed tanks, mortars, and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Vyyimka, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdyumivka, Dyliivka and Druzhba in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Avdiivka front, Russian forces attacked Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlivka front, Vuhledar and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, areas of the settlements of of Vilne Pole in Donetsk Oblast; Malynivka, Zelenyy Hai, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Charivne, Bilohiria, Kamianske and Plavni in Zaporizhia Oblast, and Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast have been damaged by Russian fire. 

On the Kherson front, Russian forces deployed tubed artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems to attack Dudchany, Stepanivka, Antonivka and Kherson city. 

The Russian invaders have built a network of trenches and dugouts using sea containers, which were previously used as a field hospital, near the settlement of Radensk in Kherson Oblast.

The Ukrainian Air Force made 20 strikes on clusters of Russian personnel, as well as three strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile system positions in the past 24 hours.

At the same time, Ukrainian servicemen shot down a Ka-52 attack helicopter, as well as two Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAVs.

Units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck one command post, seven clusters of Russian manpower and three ammunition storage points belonging to the Russian forces.
