The number of deadly fragments recorded during tests on target shields and on the target environment site is 2-2.5 times more than a standard mortar bomb should have. The size and shape of the shards are also better than the standard ones."
Details: It is noted that according to the standard, when a standard mine explodes, the number of fragments that should hit a target at a distance of 5 metres should reach 198 units, at a distance of 10 metres – 70 units, and at a distance of 15 metres – 41 units.
For the advanced ammunition, these parameters are: 460, 140 and 69 pieces of shrapnel, respectively.
For reference: the 82-mm mortar bomb is designed to attack the enemy personnel from a mortar at a distance of up to 4,500 metres.
