Latvia considers sending Ukraine another batch of Stinger MANPADS
Krišjānis Kariņš, the Latvian Prime Minister, has announced the possible transfer of another batch of Stinger MANPADS to Ukraine.

Details: Kariņš said that it is currently being assessed how else Ukraine can get the necessary aid to resist the Russian invasion.
Source: "Yesterday [11 January] we decided to send equipment from the State Police to Ukraine. A convoy of buses with all kinds of assistance will leave Riga in a matter of days," the Prime Minister said.
He added that the issue of military assistance to Ukraine is being discussed, and specifically the possible sending of the next batch of Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems and other military aid.
"We will pursue this path; we must be together with the Ukrainians, as they are fighting for our values, against the Russian aggressor," Kariņš said.
Background: Spanish Defence Minister Margarita Robles said that Switzerland had vetoed the sending of certain military aid to Ukraine.
