Details: Prytula, a former TV presenter, says the funds raised have been spent on Ram II kamikaze drones with ground stations. These drones can fly for up to 30 km.

Prytula added that Ukrainiansʼ revenge donations have also been used to purchase drones for the Armed Forces that would be able to cover distances of up to 200 and 800 km.

Note:

  • After the massive attack on 10 October, Prytula's foundation raised UAH 352 million (about US$9 million) to help the army in just one day.
  • Two weeks after that, Prytula collected more than UAH 235 million (US$6.5 million) in literally a day and a half to purchase Spartan armoured personnel carriers.
  • Prytula closed the largest fundraising campaign in summer 2022, when Ukrainians donated UAH 600 million (US$16 million) in three days to purchase Bayraktar drones.
  • After seeing Ukrainians of all ages donating their savings to buy Bayraktar drones, the Baykar company, which developed them, decided to give Ukraine three of them free of charge.
  • This meant that Prytula's team was able to spend the money on buying a satellite for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • In total, Prytula’s foundation has raised more than US$108 million since 24 February.
