Ukraine’s defence forces strike 2 Russian command posts, 5 clusters of personnel and hit anti-aircraft missile system positions – General Staff report

During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck two Russian command posts, two positions of rocket forces and artillery, as well as five clusters of Russian manpower and military equipment.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, the aircraft of Ukraine’s defence forces made 14 strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as 4 strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems positions.

During the day, Russian occupiers performed two rocket strikes and seven multiple-launch rocket system attacks, including on the civil infrastructure facilities in Donetsk and Kherson oblasts.

On the Siverschchyna front, the areas in and around Synkivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Pokrovka in Sumy Oblast came under mortar and tubed artillery fire.

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops near 13 settlements, including Sosnivka, Zelene, Vovchansk, Khatnie, Krasne Pershe and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk front, Russian occupiers used tanks and all types of artillery to attack the settlements of Vilshana, Orlianka and Kyslivka (Kharkiv Oblast) and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Lyman front, Russian invaders deployed tanks, mortars, and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the areas in and around Makiivka, Nevske and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Terny and Serebrianka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, the Russians fired from tanks and various types of artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Druzhba and Paraskoviivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian attackers fired on the areas in and around Avdiivka, Vesele, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast using tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery. 

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian forces used tanks and all types of artillery to fire on the positions of Ukraine’s defence forces near the settlements of Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian troops positions and civilian infrastructure facilities in and around 18 settlements using tanks, mortars, and tubed and rocket artillery. The settlements included Vilne Pole and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast, as well as Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Stepove, Shcherbaky and Bilohiria in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 

On the Kherson front, Russian invaders are continuing to attack the settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro River. The civilian infrastructure facilities in 12 settlements were damaged by shelling, including in Antonivka, Vesele, Dudchany, Mylove and Zolota Balka in Kherson Oblast and in the city of Kherson. Civilian casualties have been reported.

Russian forces continue to suffer losses. According to preliminary information, hospitals in the city of Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast are full of wounded soldiers. Therefore, Russian occupying forces equipped a further three military hospitals in the last week.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine persists, emphasises the General Staff.
