Sumy Oblast sustains 114 strikes in one day, with architectural monument damaged
On Sunday, 1 January, the Russians performed 114 strikes on 5 hromadas[an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] in Sumy Oblast, damaging an architectural monument, a community arts centre and a village council building.

Details: The Russians fired 15 rockets from multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) at Esman hromada and delivered a further 15 strikes using tubed artillery.
Hlukhiv hromada: Russian attackers struck the hromada 20 times using MLRS.
The Russian army deployed 120-mm mortars to strike Shalyhyne hromada 11 times. Ten more artillery strikes were also recorded.
Krasnopillia hromada: six Russian mine bombs exploded near the national border.
Bilopillia hromada: the Russians performed two 120-mm mortar attacks, delivering 27 strikes.
