Russian missiles hit one of DTEK’s thermal power plants on New Year’s Eve

One of the thermal power plants of the DTEK company has been damaged as a result of another Russian missile attack on New Year’s Eve.

Quote: "Yesterday evening, Russia continued to launch full-scale missile attacks on civilian and energy facilities of Ukraine. One of the energy facilities of DTEK Energo has been again affected by the enemy shelling," DTEK states.

DTEK company also adds that this is the 23rd terrorist attack of the Russian Federation during which the company’s equipment has been damaged.

Background:

Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, CEO of Ukrenergo National Energy Company, said that theoretically there is a possibility of a complete blackout, but in practice he does not see such a danger now.
