13-year-old boy from Kherson Oblast came under Russian shelling twice on New Year's Eve
Yaroslav, a 13-year-old resident of Kherson Oblast, came under Russian shelling twice during the New Year holidays.
This was announced by Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the Kherson Oblast Military Administration.
On 31 December, just before the New Year, the Russians attacked the village of Naddniprianske, near Kherson.
13-year-old Yaroslav and his sister were coming home and came under shelling. The boy was taken to the hospital in serious condition, where doctors fought for his life.
On the first day of the new year, the Russians attacked the Kherson Oblast children's clinical hospital, where Yaroslav was in the intensive care unit.
The child is now evacuated to the Mykolaiv medical facility.
"What did a 13-year-old boy do to these inhumans that they tried to kill him twice? There are no words to describe the hatred and disgust for the Russians who gave and carried out this criminal order. You should sit on the bench of the tribunal and burn in hell," says the head of the Kherson Oblast Military Administration.
As Yanushevych reported, the occupiers fired about seven shells at the Kherson Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital.
The thoracic department of the neonatal building suffered significant destruction; two intensive care units were destroyed and other medical offices of the main building were damaged. In total, more than 700 windows were broken in the hospital. A fire broke out due to the attack of the Ruscists; the nurse's office and the ward for the sick were on fire.
The hospital staff evacuated 17 children, 4 parents and 38 hospital employees to shelter. This made it possible to avoid casualties among civilians.
Previously: the Russian occupiers shelled Kherson at night, as a result of which one person died.
